Prof. Jaime Ortega and Prof. Eduardo Melero organized the Fifth Madrid Work & Organizations Symposium on October 30, 2015, on UC3M Puerta de Toledo Campus. The speakers will be Roberto Fernandez (MIT), Guido Friebel (Goethe University, Frankfurt), and Vicente Salas (University of Zaragoza). These series of workshops are jointly organized by IE, IESE and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M).

The article “Accounting conservatism and firm investment efficiency" coauthored by our colleagues Juan Manuel Garcia Lara and Beatriz Garcia Osma as well as Fernando Penalva (IESE) has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Accounting & Economics, which is an A+ journal in Accounting.
