Our colleague Juan Manuel has gained a civil servant position as Full Professor in Accounting. Everybody in this Department knows the brilliant CV of Juan Manuel. His research output is outstanding (he is known internationally as a reference in accounting conservatism); his teaching performance is also very remarkable (his scores are systematically among the top 10 of the Department) and he has been actively involved in administrative tasks in the Department as a first Deputy Chair. Juan Manuel has presented in a brilliant way a very interesting research paper on accounting conservatism as part of his exam in front of the evaluation committee.
