The work of UC3M Business José Marín, Ozlem Akin from Özyeğin University, and José-Luis Peydró from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, has been accepted for publication by Economic Policy. The paper shows that US banks’ stock returns in the 2007-08 crisis are related to bank insiders’ sales of their own bank shares in the period prior to 2006:Q2.
