According to Royal Decree 102/2019, of March 1, which creates the Macroprudential Authority Financial Stability Board, its legal regime is established and certain aspects related to macroprudential tools are developed:
"In a complex and interconnected financial system like the current one, it is especially important to ensure stability and prevent potentially systemic risks that could end up negatively affecting the real economy."
Thus:
"The following agencies and authorities will cooperate in good faith with AMCESFI and will provide the information they have available in the exercise of their respective responsibilities and that is necessary for the exercise of AMCESFI's functions: a) The Bank of Spain. ) The CNMV c) The General Directorate of Insurance and Pension Funds d) The FROB e) The Institute of Accounting and Audit of Accounts f) The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Credit Institutions g) The Fondo de Investment Guarantee h) The Insurance Compensation Consortium i) The Independent Authority of Fiscal Responsibility j) The National Commission of Markets and Competition k) The Institute of Spanish Actuaries l) Any other authority or public body relevant".
