Sergio Vicente is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Department of Business Administration at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, which he joined in September 2012.

He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from New York University, his M.A. from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and his B.A. from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

His main research interests are banking, financial intermediation, corporate finance and, more broadly, information economics.

He teaches Banking Management at the Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Corporate Finance at the MBA and Topics in Corporate Finance and Introduction to Math at the PhD in Finance and Business at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
