Mónica López-Puertas Lamy is Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Department of Business Administration at the University Carlos III.

Mónica holds a Ph.d in Economics, Management and Organization by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, a MSc in Economics, Management and Organization from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, a MSc in Financial Auditing and Advanced Accountancy from the University of Málaga , a BSc In Economics from the University of Málaga and a BSc in Business Administration from Southampton Solent University.

Her research interests focus in the area of financial accounting and financial economics, more specifically, in issues related with banking, corporate governance and company management.
