David Martinez Miera is an Assistant Professor in the Business Department at Carlos III University where he teaches financial management.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros (CEMFI) and UIMP, an MSc in Economics and Finance from CEMFI and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of La Rioja.

His research focuses on corporate finance, in particular on issues related to banking, and to microfinance.
